Roby Cole

Hello! My name is Roby Cole, and my journey has taken me through acting, theatre, theological studies, and—most importantly—the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

My Journey into Acting

My interest in acting began in 2010, when I attended acting classes at the Lisa Maile School in Winter Park, Florida.

Since then, I have had the opportunity to participate in two independent films, infomercials, a promotional video for Disney, and other projects. Acting has given me opportunities to meet wonderful people, develop creatively, and enjoy the process of bringing stories and characters to life.

After stepping away from acting for a time, I decided to return to the stage while continuing my theological education and ministry.

In 2025, I was blessed with the opportunity to perform in a stage production of Arsenic and Old Lace, portraying Rev. Harper, Mr. Witherspoon, and Mr. Gibbs. The production opened on February 28, 2025.

I loved every minute of the experience—from rehearsals and work days to the performances themselves. It was wonderful to be involved in theatre again!

My next adventure took me behind the scenes as Assistant Director for Peter Pan Jr. The production opened on March 27, 2026, and once again, I loved every minute of the experience. Thank you to everyone who came out and experienced the magic of Peter Pan Jr.!

A Midsummer Night's Dream

I am currently preparing for my next role: Theseus, Duke of Athens, in William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream!

The production is scheduled to open on the PREPAC stage on October 9, 2026.

I am excited to continue growing as an actor, learning from those around me, and enjoying everything that goes into bringing a theatrical production to the stage.

Called to the Ministry

As much as I enjoy acting and theatre, the greatest calling upon my life is the ministry of the Gospel.

The LORD has called me into ministry, and I am currently working toward my Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) degree.

I am ordained as a Minister of the Gospel through Led by the Spirit Ministries, where I also preach through the ministry's YouTube channel.

We are currently in the process of beginning home church services, while praying and trusting the LORD concerning a future building for the church.

My desire is to faithfully preach the Word of God and clearly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel

The Gospel is declared in 1 Corinthians 15:1–4 (KJV):

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

And the “how” is found in Romans 3:22–26 (KJV)—salvation is received by faith in the shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ shed His blood, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
